Some of the organizations use recorded messages; others provide personalized counseling and referrals. Most offer educational materials; some charge handling fees.
Organizations that provide crisis assistance are listed under the heading of Crisis Intervention.The Rare Disorders category includes diseases and disorders that affect less than 1 percent of the population at any given time.
